Hey everyone! So it has been a while since I've posted and there are some updates for you guys. In the last blog we were waiting for a response from the manager from Hayner Public Library. They did get back to us, but they just couldn't help and provide what we needed. It's all good because we are currently working on another place. In fact Bethalto Public Library is considering helping us and letting us use their place for our event. My partner, Savannah, is currently communicating with the manager at the Bethalto Library and we will go from there. As we have been waiting for a place we have all been brainstorming, We all were thinking that when we host our event there will be a entry fee. The entry fee will be a gently used (or new) children's book. So if you have some old children's books that you don't want you can bring them with you to the event. The children's books will either be donated to the library or to children in our own community. I will keep you guys up on whether we get a place or not.
